At the Gas Station

Tom goes to the gas station with his father on Saturday morning. They are driving their car to the market. On the way, Tom’s father sees that the car needs more gas.

“Let’s stop at the gas station,” his father says.

They drive into the gas station and stop next to a gas pump. Tom’s father turns off the car and opens the fuel door. A friendly worker comes to help them.

“Hello! How much gas do you need?” the worker asks.

Tom’s father tells him how much gas he wants. The worker puts the fuel nozzle into the car and fills the tank with gas. Tom watches carefully. He learns that gas helps the car move.

After the car is ready, Tom and his father go inside the small store. Tom feels thirsty, so he buys a bottle of water. He also chooses a small snack.

His father pays the cashier. The cashier gives him a receipt.

Before they leave, Tom smiles and says, “Thank you!”

The worker smiles and says, “Have a nice day!”

Tom and his father get into the car. They drive home safely and happily.
