What Are Question Tags?

Question tags are short questions added to the end of a statement ( positive and negative sentence) to check or confirm information. A question tag is like a yes/no question which is used to get a YES or NO response. For a positive sentence, we use a negative tag and for a negative sentence, a positive tag is used.

If the sentence is positive, the tag is negative.
