Gardening vocabulary | 20 verbs frequently used in the garden

Gardening is a fun and exciting activity where we use many action words, called verbs, to describe what we do. When we work in a garden, we plant seeds in the soil, water the flowers to help them grow, and harvest fruits and vegetables when they are ready to eat. We also dig holes for new plants, trim bushes to keep them neat,  and weed the garden to remove unwanted plants. These verbs help us talk about all the wonderful things we can do to take care of a garden!
