📚 Grammar Rules
1. Regular Plurals (Add -s)
Most nouns form plurals by simply adding -s
Examples: cat → cats, dog → dogs, book → books
2. Nouns ending in -s, -x, -z, -ch, -sh (Add -es)
Add -es to nouns ending in these sounds
Examples: box → boxes, church → churches, dish → dishes
3. Nouns ending in consonant + y (Change y to -ies)
Change y to -ies when preceded by a consonant
Examples: baby → babies, city → cities, story → stories
4. Nouns ending in -f or -fe (Change to -ves)
Change -f or -fe to -ves
Examples: knife → knives, leaf → leaves, wolf → wolves
5. Irregular Plurals
Some nouns have completely different plural forms
Examples: man → men, woman → women, child → children, tooth → teeth, foot → feet, mouse → mice
