Weather vocabulary | weather words practice with answers

The weather changes every day. Sometimes it is sunny, and the sky is bright and blue. People love to go outside and play when it is warm and sunny. Other days, it is cloudy, and the sun hides behind the clouds.

When it is rainy, water falls from the sky, and people use umbrellas to avoid getting wet and stay dry. A windy day makes the trees dance, and it feels nice when the wind is not too strong. But when the wind is very strong, it can be a stormy day with thunder and lightning.

In winter, the air gets cold, and sometimes it becomes snowy. Snow covers the ground, and people wear warm clothes. But in summer, the weather is hot, and people like to swim to cool down.

Sometimes early in the morning it is foggy, and it is hard to see far ahead that mean the visibility is low. The fog makes everything look soft and mysterious. Other times, the weather is just warm, and it feels comfortable to be outside.

No matter the weather, every day is special in its own way!
